There has always been Santa and the E. Bunny for as long as I can remember.

An Easter Bunny you visit at the mall, I have never seen that. Obviously a long running tradition there, fortunately not one I've seen here. :D

WOW, how long has she been in labor?

I am not sure how long it has been now, but she just said they are expecting a couple hours.

The suspense is killing me. :D

Chris and I saw this dog when we were shooting at the capitol on saturday. At first glance the different colored eyes are kind of cool, but I think that living with it would be even worse than having an upside down book on the bookshelf.

Nice shot Mike, I think you would get used to the eyes soon enough, not much you could do to change it anyway. :D

Jaspers eyes are balanced, but his face sure isn't, we love that. ;)

Hi. <--- enthusiastic greeting.

Hi. I was beginning to think enthusiastic simplicity had become a lost art.

No, no. I'm a natural in enthusiastic simplicity. It comes from spending years and years at the Tibetan monastery high in the Himalayas mastering the art of lazy.

I'm speculating that it's an invention by a of studio photog who was looking for an additional revenue stream. But yea, I've seen'em here in the malls for quite some number of years. Not as popular as Santas, but still pretty easy to find.

It was a really nice dog, and you are probably right about getting used to the eyes.

It only took a little while to get used to Pokie's short nose, and his eyes which go in opposite directions.

On a lighter note, here's some pictures of the boy's visit with the Easter bunny!

Not a single chirp. He happily sat on a total stranger's lap.. :-|

cool! We're hitting the bunny up on saturday...at the school though.

My story of the Korean memorial and people. I had a great reflection of the soldier statues in the etched wall, waited and waited for the people to clear out of the reflection, just as I was about to shoot, Curt walks into the frame completely oblivious. I think this may have been shot with our first digital a Fuji 1.3 mp or it may have been my film camera. Anyway here is a shot of the printed picture...seems our scanner isn't compatible with Vista...shows how often we use it. I really liked how the reflection intermingled with those ghostly etchings.

QUOTED IMAGE

That is amazing!

Tiff, that's not right..

Sorry just john...but when you shower with a 2 year old and shave your legs with fun foamy white stuff, he wants in.
