Obviously I missed something. What did I miss? And Paula, please make sure the safety is ON!
not that you actually have a gun under your pillow, and if you do, put it back in the safe...

Mike, Paula has had problems with family stopping by when she is trying to sleep during the day. She did not get much sleep yesterday, so she said she was going to shoot the first person who wakes her up today.

Time to get ready for work. BBL

HERE'S (external link) a real neat video of a birch bark canoe being made, if that kinda thing interests you. It is an hour long, but I found it very interesting to watch.

Some other interesting videos on there too.

Still nothing. Here is a screen shot with the top menu showing my external hard drive and only the 'Public' Folder under users. The bottom menu shows a search I did for 'Escape' (our trailer make) showing lots of files in a 'Jim Bennett' folder in 'Users'.

I show 45 GB in the 'Users' folder, and only 0.4 MB in the 'Public' folder proving that probably all my missing docs are in there, they just don't show in the directory.

The public folder actually contains some global configuration data, and 0.4 MB sounds about right. I wouldn't think your missing stuff is in there for a moment.

Lots of work today. :(

And what is the obsession with MMQ?

I don't know about obsession but it is a long standing thing we do here. Back when this room was only regulars and TPBM people, we were a bunch of good friends. We looked forward to catching up with and responding to each other. This is how we got to know each other to a point that we communicate a lot outside the thread and do get togethers. There are 8 billion other places one can plunk down and just start chatting with no attachment at all. Why people do that I don't get but to each his own. The MMQ was started in earnest by Mark Harvey who was not always able to hang out but always stopped in, posted in the game, and did a MMQ to share his thoughts and stay part of the tight nit group. Given the state of things I am afraid he is another we won't see much of anymore:(.
