I don't know about their other parks, but Six Flags Magic Mountain here in Southern California is probably the crappiest theme park I've ever been to.

I have heard really bad things about Magic Mountain. Do they also charge a fortune for admission and parking?

Yeah, Six Flags Over Texas is ok... but only because it's nowhere near any other theme parks. Of course, they have that stupid screaming head commercial, and now the even dumber 1 flag, 6 flags of fun commercial. Gag.

The original concept was interesting, the 6 flags over texas: U.S., France, Mexico, Spain, Texas and Confederate.

I haven't been in years. The last time I went, I started noticing how cheaply made some of the props were ... Such as a giant 9-volt battery, made of a wooden box, and a couple kitchen drain stoppers.

Yeah.. Forget suspension of disbelief.

Calvins and my sons pal Tim is a real big guy about 6'5 and stalky built , anyways he weeped so hard ..very touching .
His Wife and family where so concerned for him , when he finally returned home they had got him some tickets to his fav band..He was overjoyed .He lived closer to Cal ,so his loss will be even harder because they often hang out.

Miss Tiffy thanks for the hugs ,I"m such a girl lol ..I just been a bit overwelmed with it lately .

I'm glad you're such a girl, and not accusing yourself of being such a guy...that could get really, really weird.

G'MAE all, odd day here, but nothing bad thank goodness....just odd and long. And working on potty training and had a bit of a smelly accident a little while ago, but he's getting the pee thing down quite well, YAY! So yep, there you have my day in a nutshell, aren't you glad I told you that? lmbo.

Hi Diane! I didn't have my camera with me, so no pictures. But I hope to be able to finally find some time to shoot (someday...)

In the meantime, an old shot for you ;-)a

Thats sad, I have been to that one several times and it's a great park, lots of trees and such, but the last time we went it was down right scary in places. Seems that some unsavory types like to frequent the place and harass folks and park security did nothing about it.

I remember it being a pretty fun place back around 1979 or 1980 when I went for my first time. Last time I was there was maybe 5 or 6 years ago, and it was pretty much just like you described. I only stayed for a couple hours before I decided I'd had enough...

Last time I went, parking was free. And I didn't pay to get in. A friend of mine gave me a ticket. I don't think it's expensive, though.

I hate those commercials too! They've been running those for a few years around here, but lately they're running almost every fifteen minutes...
