This is a role I'm not used to being cast in, but it appears I am the villain in this.

No surprise.. this fits with your avi :p ( As I have no clue what this is all about, I can joke about it. And if I can't, you are free to delete my post ;-)a)

No kidding. Last year my wife asked to be taken. :) Her and the two boys really put a chink in my wallet.

Yeah...not that cheap eh?

But for us, not having kids, we didn't go when all the summer kids went, so flights were cheaper just before summer (always summer down in FL though), and we saved a fortune staying with family...it sure does add up.

On the other hand, it cost a wee fortune to do a week and a half in the Grand Canyon / Vegas last year...so name a holiday that doesn't empty out your wallet faster than tax time!

Hi Diane! I didn't have my camera with me, so no pictures. But I hope to be able to finally find some time to shoot (someday...)

In the meantime, an old shot for you ;-)a

PBS kids is getting mad props this morning for having a cartoon on that is telling Kipling short stories

Which one?!?! Gotta love PBS kids, especially on a rainy day.

To cheer you up, here is a small recipe that always has success (I just made it for my neighbours and they loved it ;-)a)

Slowly melt 120g dark chocolate with 35g butter

Mix 3 eggs, 80g sugar and a tbsp flour.

Mix chocolate and sugegg together ;-)a

Pour 1/3 of the preparation in 4 individual cups, add to chunks of dark chocolate in each cup and pour the rest of the preparation.

Cook on 220°C for 10-12 min. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream....

This is a role I'm not used to being cast in, but it appears I am the villain in this. I tfought I had made my peace with the main players, but apparently I missed a few.

So, I apologize to whoever feels they have one coming. I will leave you in peace. I'm out of my element here, but wish you all well.

We have many issues here:lol: and you dropped in in during a time of transition which does not give a fair picture of what we were. I have no beef with you and are a welcome face to see. You bring humor, knowledge and companionship to the thread. Don't read into what has been stirred up here by assumptions. I guess I am saying no need to apologize to me.

Ahhhh, we've seen that one. its in our afternoon lineup, so we don't watch it much at all, but it seems cute.
