Everybody looks so young these days. I had dealings with the police last month, and i swear the officer that took my statement looked as if his voice hadn't quite finished changing.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Just back from the doctor, eli's woes seem to be asthma related. New inhaler, singulair and steroids are the order of the next 6 days, then maintenance on singulair to get thru the tree pollen...but we are free and clear on the water park!!!

Every once in a while I take great offense at something here, generally not in this particular thread.

I can't speak to the past few days because in all honesty it went right over my head. I saw someone come in and want to fit in but they didn't try to fit in. One evening in particular we were all here being familiar and doing our familiar things; I don't think anyone needs to apologize for being comfortable in their environment regardless of how it makes others feel. There was more than once that I wanted to comment regarding the person trying to 'join' as it were, and held my tongue, now I wish I had said something.

I have to remind myself of that statement in bold often, because sometimes I too can read too much into what someone types without the benefit of having them near me in person. Sometimes I envy Zane's ability to be blunt, and sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. But if I believe what I said I must respect him none the less.

All I really know is when anyone isn't here, I miss you and I hope you come back soon.

To cheer you up, here is a small recipe that always has success (I just made it for my neighbours and they loved it ;-)a)

Slowly melt 120g dark chocolate with 35g butter

Mix 3 eggs, 80g sugar and a tbsp flour.

Mix chocolate and sugegg together ;-)a

Pour 1/3 of the preparation in 4 individual cups, add to chunks of dark chocolate in each cup and pour the rest of the preparation.

Cook on 220°C for 10-12 min. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream....

That sounds yummily bad. :p

This is a role I'm not used to being cast in, but it appears I am the villain in this. I tfought I had made my peace with the main players, but apparently I missed a few.

So, I apologize to whoever feels they have one coming. I will leave you in peace. I'm out of my element here, but wish you all well.

No worries Tom, you spoke with truth an are entitled to do so. Everyone is a totally different element added to the mix here, an many of us at times have been out of our element (sometimes our pants too).

Although the core of the folks on this thread have become quite close, including many meeting because of it in real life, it is still a public place and must expect new people dropping in. BUT, these newcomers must learn to sit back and try to figure out to some degree how things work in here. I think most folks in here take the brunt of the jokes and banter thrown at them with the (hidden) respect it was delivered with.

The main problem with forums like this, is the written word does not come across as clearly as how the message would be portrayed in real life, and interpretation of what was written is easily misconstrued unless you really know where this person is coming from, and this understanding can only be attained with time spent online with them.

I welcome newcomers to this thread, but they really need to be respective of the core of folks here.

For anyone that may have bad feelings for what transpired. DON'T
Your hearts are good, and for me that is the absolute key to being a good person.

We have many issues here:lol: and you dropped in in during a time of transition which does not give a fair picture of what we were. I have no beef with you and are a welcome face to see. You bring humor, knowledge and companionship to the thread. Don't read into what has been stirred up here by assumptions. I guess I am saying no need to apologize to me.

Or, you could put it like that. :D
