First off, i was lucky enough to sit in the photo booth just off the pit.
Second, i was using an original Rebel with kit lense, and
Third, i hope to be able to understand what it takes to come close, maybe in the same zip code, as the shots i've seen in this thread.

i am not offering these for C & C, just sharing a nice day at the track and something for me to compare to the glorious captures i've seen in the rest of this thread.

hey! we go thru your town, when we go to JH and Yellowstone! you must have some awesome shots of the National park . . . Miller is getting alot of international attention.
If you find yourself down here, make time to stop @ the great Salt Lake, great colors there.

Hey Burnzz what do you have to do to shoot there? I thought I had been told you have to take a course safety class before you can shoot is that so?

it is true, for the sanctioned races. i was able to get in because it was a club event, and even then, my friend's dad was the safety marshall for the event. he's just out of picture, left, in the first frame. he had taken us aside and gave us a brief safety lesson.
