The photos that I take in Nature with my MF are allways blurry, not as clear as I wish them to be. Now, the setting that I use for Nature is F 5.6, Full zoom out, MF 5 feet and shutter speed 1/400.

Am I doing anything wrong?

I wanna add that If I MF on an object and make that object clear on my LCD than that object is very clear in the picture taken, but how can I make the whole DOF be clear with MF, I wanna do this so I take fast action shots without the automatic zoom (with the blue light assist) because than I miss the position that I wanna capture.
I wanna take the picture as soon as a press the shutter...but for it also to be clear.

Also, when I took in high speed like multiple photos (six) in RAW mode, after they processed I turned my camera to play mode and it Frose, and this happens every time I do that...

Is this normal?

Thank you all in advance for the time spent in helping me...

Regards,
Artan.

Artan,
You might want to try using the hyperfocal distance--tons of good info here:
http://www.dofmaster.com/hyperfocal.html (external link)
There are also several good threads on this forum regarding hyperfocal. Short version: at certain aperture & zoom settings, everything from a medium distance (say 3 feet) to infinity is in focus. Can be very handy for non-macro, bright-light outdoor shooting.

Another possibility--have you used the focus bracketing function on your G6? It will take three shots in quick succession, one at your set focus, and one on each side of that (you can adjust how much to either side).

Regarding the delay in RAW mode, unforunately that is normal. When you shoot in high speed mode, the data is pulled from the CCD into a small memory buffer, where they are queued up waiting to be processed. When you switch to play mode, the camera's processor hasn't had time to generate the jpeg thumbnail of the most recent image to display yet--it's probably still working on an image three or four preceding it. When the green LED next to the optical viewfinder stops flashing, it's done processing.

Dbump, you have been very helpfull, I thank you very much...

You have confirmed what I have thought to be the case with the RAW image processing, thank you for ending my worries.

About Bracketing I have used exposure bracketing but odly not Focus bracketing, thank you for bringing this to my attention....

Please accept my deepest regards, thank you again.

Artan.
