he's asking $1000 cash for it... should i get it? wat to check? how to make sure it's good? it's been a while since i sold my gears...

Pictures are of actual camera body being sold. normal wear and tear. have the original box, and several accessories.

I purchased the camera new on October 24th, 2006 from Samy's Camera by phone in Los Angeles for $2819.95, along with the vertical grip for $215, and 3 batteries at the time for $45 each.

Great price on an MKI. Put it through the paces - rapid fire, various lenses, etc.

Man I love craigslist :D

I'd go for it, see if he/she can produce a receipt to make sure it's not a hot item.

I saw that ad too, If I had the cash I would look into into it, but for now, not a reality.
