A couple from my recent senior rep shoot. I'm aware of the lighting issues but I only have the one bee and my speedlite doesn't allow for manual settings.

I love this idea, it is so cool or hot! I like the lighting and think you have done a awesome job with what you have. Your client should be vey happy with these images. I love the idea, can you share your set up? Pete

A bunch of equipment with Canon on it and some stuff with Sigma on it. The desire to capture a moment in time and share it with you! :)

Lighting seems fine to me. I like the fire in the first picture, I think it works very well; a lot better than the second.

These are awesome. First time I'd seen this before, and even if it's been done before, it's a great idea and I'm sure the kid loved it. Second one is my favorite. Next time see if you can throw a flaming ball into the frame. :D

Thanks. I'm assuming you want to know how I lit it up? Tape on the bat...it was a roofing tape that was made of foil (or you can use duct tape), I slopped rubber cement on that, and added a match.

Sweet pics! How long does it stay lit for? I have always wanted to capture some things on fire, you gave me that much needed push towards it. :)

Have you processed the skin? It looks far too 'clean'--particularly for a male subject [edit: perhaps it is the small file size?].

Yes, and yes. The original looks fine. It's very lightly processed...just enough to even out tone from healing his acne.

I thought the same thing about the first image around the upper arms

The skin looks highly processed to me. Almost Anime. I thought that's what you intended. Kinda like it!
Nicely done shots BTW.
