I sold my xti a year ago, and I want to get back with a dslr, but dont want to spend too much. A friend is selling a bnib xs kit w/lens. I was reading on the xs but unless I read wrong it is more of a downgrade from the xti. Should I get the XS or just get another Xti.

well, two of my friends are selling their cameras. One has an Xti with less than 100 clicks and the other one is selling the xs. The prices are not that different. I just dont know which one I should get.

timbop Goldmember  More info | I would definitely prefer to have the XTi of the 2 you mentioned. The feature set on the XTi is better (particularly AF), as is the sensor IMHO. Current: 5DM3, 6D, 8mm fish, 24-105/4IS, 35/2IS, 70-200/2.8IS, 85/1.8, 100-400/IS v1, lensbaby composer with edge 80, 580's and AB800's
