It covers the gear no matter where you are. I bought mine specifically for travel and said as much to my agent and he never mentioned any conditions that were not covered. Theft, damage by self or others, leaving it in a park, dropping it into the sea, etc.



6D, 60D, Various L and non-L Lenses and more gear than I have time to use. ;)

Hmm... that's not what they told me. But then again, I was inquiring about "professional" coverage. I could see them saying they cover it for "personal"... well, until the first time you claim that 50D and 70-200 price tag. :lol:

My only point with mentioning PPA over SF is for anyone that is shooting even semi-professionally needs to read the fine print and compare. That's all. I did and there are some important differences. It's been almost two years since I read those differences, so I cannot say what they were. I only know I chose PPA over SF, Hill and many others. (FWIW)

I've given them copies of receipts for just about everything on my policy, so they know what they're in for :lol:
