My only flame shot, this truck had some type of system on it that the guy could have flames shoot out the back...

a bit soft because of noise reduction and heavy cropping. but this is a 7 shot sequence put together to get all the fire while on the clutch.

Side bar:

When they run the 4-wide race is there one winner and three cars eliminated?

or is there two winners and two cars eliminated?

Seems a bit odd to think about the fact that in normal drag racing you are only going against one other car, and you can see them right next to you.

but with the 4-wide you are going against three other cars, and you must beat them all to advance to the next round. Is that correct. or is it just two separate one-on-one races right next to each other? That would make more sense and you could get more racing done in the same amount of time but the fans get the short end of the deal as they have to pay attention to 2 races happening at one time.

It just boggles my mind.

If I recall, it was the standard format until the finals, at which point the last four cars racing would finish 1-4 based on that run. While 32,000 HP is an experience you can't describe, problems with the tree and misunderstood rules created quite the clusterf*ck.

Yes, communication on the starting line when anything other than street cars are running is limited to simple hand signals because the noise from just two cars is off the db meter.
