I managed to crawl up to three deer when they were bedded down early in the evening. I was able to get to within 12 - 15 feet of the one. Wish I had been able to get closer to the yearling as she was pretty cute tucked away in the brush.

These guys definitely knew I was there and looked whenever the camera beeped, and sniffed the air once in awhile. Didn't seem to concerned though and stayed there even when I got up and slowly walked away.

Cheers, Shayne

Nice to get them up close and personal. Looks like she is a young one herself.

I like the pose in #2 - looks as if she's testing the wind.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.

"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Can't you turn off the beep? I know you can on the xxD series.

You certainly can. I was worried that I'd spook them off while trying to fart around with it. Next time I'll do it beforehand. Haven't figured out a way to do it with my videcamera though. A lot of times I just used MF as well and that was fine.
