As previously posted, I have been on a diet since July 2008, losing 120lbs but my wife has also been on the same diet, losing 90lbs. She vary rarely gets in front of the camera, so I have to take my chances while I can :D

Here is a shot, quickly taken, with my new Gemini 750+ and large softbox. Colour and black & white versions for you to comment on too

Cheers

Congrats to you both on the weight loss!!

That's a lovely young lady you have there. Perfectly natural looking portrait.

FWIW, the color is more appealing here.

I see 2 pictures of your daughter (one color, one B&W). Where are the pics of your wife?

:-)

Congrats!

I do like the color image. It has a Mona Lisa quality. I love her eyes and smile. Very easy to look at.

Congratulations to you both, that is a fantastic effort, truly amazing and I'm sure very rewarding.
They are both beautiful portraits of your wife, to be the odd one out here I prefer the BW version, I think it tends to show her off your wifes beautiful bone structure better, IMHO.

Well done on the weight loss. I prefer the colour as the B&W has a slightly over-exposed forehead. Nice eyes.

Congrats! I prefer the color version, I think the b&w would be great with a bit more contrast.
