California Meet Up #7 : Spring '09

Folks, it's time for another get together.

Golden Gate Park in San Francisco is the place,
Saturday April 25th is the date.

We'll meet at 9am at Stow Lake. It's almost smack dab in the center of the park, and within walking distance of the Japanese Tea Gardens, the deYoung Museum, the brand new Academy of Sciences, the Botanical Gardens, the Rose Garden and probably other things I haven't listed.

I don't remember how far the Buffalo Paddock is from there, but if you haven't been, yes there are live Buffalo living in Golden Gate Park.

It sounds good, I cannot totally confirm until closer to the date, but it would be nice to do for sure. Parking at that time would be quite a bit easier to obtain within the park, anytime after 9 it would start to get sketchy.

Edit, They better have the alligator out this time, he was absentee the last time I went

Sounds like a great time, but unfortunately I have plans that I can't change, so I'm out for this one.

Kevin, are you talking about the Albino alligator?
Because they have more than just that one. Didn't they take the albino out because it had been bitten on the foot by another gator?
They wanted to give it time to heal properly.

Edit: Sorry, only one albino gator. I meant they have other gators, but they are the normal color.

I'm glad to see more people are able to make it.

There's still plenty of time for more people to find this.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of the folks I have met in the past, and meeting new people too!

Claude and everyone else in the tank was gone. They were polishing the polycarb and doing a little maintenance on the tank.
If I can make it anyone making it to hwy. 24 can ride in with me.
