Hi kids,

I know I haven't been posting much, so I thought I'd share some images I took in March of a lovely couple from Australia (the Bride being Swedish, but the Groom Australian). They opted to exchange Bondi Beach for a snowy northern Sweden.

They're all fantastic, I really like #2 and #8.

The only nitpicks (I mean really nit picking) I would have is #11 -- I wish that shack wasn't there, or maybe something else more interesting in its place.
#12 & #13 the horizon is off which is a bit distracting... although since they're both just about the same, I assume you meant to do that. I don't see why though.

Thanks for your input!

The point with the "shack" is that it's a very typical type of "barn" in this region (to store hay so it could dry in the fields), you won't find them anywhere else in Sweden. So it was on purpose. :D

In #12 I see what you mean, part of the church in the background gives the tilt away but I also think that the snow bank might trick the eyes too, but I'll fix that tilt. In image #13 it was on purpose though, so that'll stay. :D

Oh and I have to say in my defense that I don't tilt on purpose much, but I noticed that I have 3 tilted images in this set. #1 and #9 was to be able to fit the redhead girls hair in and as they were bending down to kiss and I wanted the church tower in the background. No real defence for #13 though, I just liked it better than the non tilted ones I also shot. :D :D :D

Petra you rock! :D

I like the tilt. People who don't tilt are boring.

Love #2 & 3...

I don't like #9. Kissing is great... but looks awkward when you're kissing teeth...

Really like this set....I love the way you have isolated the couple from the snow background....they really do draw your eye to them...but you have still been able to incorporate just enough background scenery to enhance the shots...great work. I also love the shack in the background. cheers Val

Thanks again everyone! I really appreciate it!!

Valjoy, I love shooting with short DOFs, I am hooked on it, so I guess it's part of my style now. So glad you liked it! :D
