Today was my first time shooting some lacrosse games, and the first time using my new 70-200/2.8L IS.

I'm pretty happy with the lens so far. A little on the short side though for large field sports, but I think it will perform well with a 1.4x extender for about a 100-300mm f/4 IS which is a better range for lacrosse and soccer on a 20D.

Really nice work Phil. Gotta love that lens. Looks like the kids are really into it.

I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot. :rolleyes:

Thanks. I just noticed the first and seconds ones look way overexposed in the resized JPEGs. I'm not sure how that happened. The full size TIFFs didn't look all that bad exposure-wise.

Awesome shots! Man, I've gotta get me some L glass. It's so expensive though, and me being a major newbie, probably wouldn't be a good idea.
