I did promo shooting for a duo band. Place was very nice old mansion.

Stuff like this usually isnt my style but I like these alot. Tho the guitars to me stand out more than they band members in pic 2.


Canon EOS XS, 430ex II, and a couple lenses...

I used two canon 580ex2 flashes trough white umbrellas. In first picture one at the left of the camera about 80 degr. Another at the right about 40 degr.
In second picture camera was about middle of the flashes.

i dont like the way the second pictures has the guitars laid out...maybe a bit too obvious

i think its just the straight on shot thats making the 2nd image not so appealing. unlike the first one the is shot at an angle. Also the guitars on the floor automatically draw your eyes there and the 2 guys just blend into the background. thats just my opinion. other thank that i love the image specially the PP
