After lurking around this forum for some time, looking for a UWA, I got around to ordering a sigma 10-20. I found plenty of threads on the subject, I just had to make up my mind and fit my budget. It just showed up! Now it's time to play. Everyone here has been a great help to me-you just don't realize it. Thanks. Time to play now.........

You will have blast with that lens! It's my favorite to use. You have to get really close to things so you have foreground details to lead the viewer in but thats easy to do once you start shooting.... Have fun!

LOL at the "Wigma" 10-20mm. But yeah, it's amazing how much of a difference there is in an ultra-wide angle on a crop sensor. When I got my 10-22mm I was blown away by how much wider 10mm was than 18mm.

I bought a new camera. It's very advanced - you don't even need it. ~Steven Wright

I look forward to seeing some results and hearing your experience with the new lens. Tomorrow I'm returning a canon 100mm macro to hopefully pic up a canon 10-22mm really soon.

I've been itching for a UWA for a long time.

I just got this lens today too. So far so much fun. Freaked my kids out though as you tend to get closer to them than you realize you are. :)
