I saw some other paintball pix, and decided to post my own.

Talk about risking your gear! Hate to know what a paintball will do to a camera...

I've seen a photo of a L lens with a paintball hit on it, it was in Face Full mag one month.

It's not too big of a risk if you are on a field with people that play a lot. It's the people that have never played before that i think you have to worry about. the field i work at i've seen new players stick their marker about their bunker and just start shoot without looking at what they are shooting at. I tend to put a towel over my camera, plus wear a bright tshirt so they know it's not a player.

and I don't know why but I now have a Speedlite 580EX.

Not too much of a risk. I've been reffing at that field for 3 years. I know when I can get close and when to stay out of the way.

Those kids have got some sweet guns. Love the auto cockers and the kid with the pimped out A-5. Now I'm tempted to call up my buddy's and play some pb this weekend. :-) First shot is my fave.
