New 50d with 18-200mm for $956???

I already have one or I would've taken a shot on this. The seller has 100% but only '23' transactions. Looks like they sold some higher priced items in the last week or so. Its listed at $1099.. but with live.com cashback.. it brings it to $956 shipped.

Beware. The listing has no input from the seller and the price is just too good to be true. As of 4/2/09, brand new 50D body goes for $1,100 on amazon and the 18-200mm lens goes for almost $500 a piece even for used ones. So you are practically getting the 18-200mm free.

Not to be a pessimistic goon, but this just doesn't look right. Definitely contact the seller before you get your hand on this.

i agree..I would contact the seller first. This one is iffy to me. The other items he sold weren't the typical $1.99 sales you would see from someone trying to boost their feedback before a scam. Also, his positive feedback sales didn't include any input from seller either. I'm on the fence, but don't get me wrong, if i had the $950.. I would definitely give it a shot (being protected by paypal)
Even if you sold the lens for only $450, your still getting a new 50d for $500.

I think he meant to list it for $1999, that seems to be the 'buy it now' price for this kit on ebay

I would stay away personally, it could be legit, but it's too much of a risk for me. I rather buy somewhere like amazon even if i have to pay a higher price.
