Does anyone know if Adorama closes from April 8-16 like B&H does? I've looked on their site & haven't seen anything posted yet, but was just wondering.

Other than that, B&H is absolutely fantastic and you can't hold it against them for honoring their beliefs. I think Adorama is also run by people of the same religion as B&H as they close at 2pm on Fridays and are closed all day Saturday, and open back up on Sunday. 5D4 | 5D3 | 16-35 f4 IS | 24-105 f4 IS | 70-200 f4 IS | 100-400 II | Sigma 20 f/1.4 ART | Sigma 35 f/1.4 ART | EF 1.4x III | EF 2x II | 430EX II |

I thought I saw something about it on their website when I was looking yesterday. Says when to place your order so you are not stuck waiting over the holiday.

That's probably what most people will want to know. If I place an order online or call during one of the days phone orders are opened, when will the product ship out? What does Fedex/UPS/USPS do with all the crap that accumulates when these folks close up shop for over a week??? I bet they have stuff coming in from all over the place. I can't imagine shippers just holding onto the stuff until they get back. I would imagine they literally have semi-trailers full of stuff. I wonder if they hire a couple of non-Jewish people to man the receiving dock during these times (to at least make sure shipments continue to be accepted)??? i called fedex today and the lady said it could be returned to me....but she said she would contact the depot and they would call me. http://instagram.com/edraderphotography/
