Dell 2408WFP Monitor - Happy with it?

I would like to hear from those who own the 2408WFP and are satisfied with it. I've read about the issues several people have experienced with the monitor (uneven backlight, color saturation issues, input lag, etc.). I would like to know if there are people who own this monitor and have not experienced any of these issues and are satisfied with the purchase. Is it a good monitor for around $400 or are there better alternatives in that price range? Thanks.

We are happy with ours. We have two, one horizontal and one vertical which really helps with editing. They are calibrated with the EyeOne Display 2. Any application that accepts calibration will display your photos is fine, Photoshop, etc... However, apps that don't accept calibration can sometimes show an over saturation of color due to the wide gamut of the monitors.

hell yes, it's about the best monitor for the price. and it works with my wii

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
