Christmas '08. Got my first XSI 2 days before and forgot about these pictures. Just thought I would share. Let me know what you think of them all.

They really just look like candids to me and they look OOF and need some sharpening. I also feel the conversion is lacking in contrast.

Above all, they're decent family photos. They all do in fact appear very soft [what lens are you using? how are you focusing? what shutterspeed were these shot at?] and I agree with Kauaicrazed that the B+W conversion looks fairly flat. Post a color version if you have one and one of us will probably give it a go.
