Oh wow, guess I am sticking with Adorama or B&H to get a good camera with a good warranty. Thank you SO much for the reply :)

Good choice. usually if something seems too good to be true, it is.

It is the second one on the site...For some reason I cannot click it, its $549. Is that a good deal? I think so :)

Or I think the XTI was like $349 for the body....What are the differences between the XTI and the XSI? The Xti is cheaper...I know the MP is different. What is live view? Thats where you can see what you are looking at on the screen right? I don't think the XTI has that, someone correct me if I am wrong :)

April
The XSI at this time is the best Rebel available, The upcoming T1I will be the top Rebel when it becomes available
LiveView lets you take photographs using your LDC screen to focus and look at the subject instead of looking trough the viewfinder ( a bit ala compact cameras point and shot although it doesn't work exactly the same way))
This is helpful for macro shots, using tripods or simply when you cant use your viewfinder.
The XTI is the camera that the XSI replaced, and does not have Live View.
Hope this helps

Sounds good, thats what I wanted to hear :). I cannot afford the ti1 so I will be going with the Xsi, is the 549 for that kit refurbished a good deal? It comes with the kit lens and the body, not bad IF I can really buy the extended warranty like they say :)

April \
I had a XSI
It is a outstanding camera, just make sure you get it with the kit 18-55 IS lens (not the older 18-55 (non IS))
Further down the road you might want to ad longer lens like the 55-250 IS etc.
You'll be very happy with your XSI ;)
If you are looking at refurbished items from Adorama, I can tell you that My 40D is a refurbished from Canon bought from Adorama and is impeccable.
Have fun

this is market watch material, but anytime the price is too good to be true in photography, it is.

April might be talking about this:

Adorama, B&H, Amazon are trust worthy resellers, I get everything from either one of these 3 stores
Good luck

You can try canon themselves (Only XT and XTi's at the moment). This was posted in the 'Marketplace' section of POTN forums.

I'm all excited and I wanna buy it now, but I can't :(. I have to wait until my Sony Cybershot sells. If someone even buys it, I HATE eBay!

Oops one more question, since this unit is "refurbished" is it gone once that certain one sells? Or do they have more than one? I need to know because if its gone once its sold I am buying it now :)
