Schedule of Events
5:00 - 5:15pm - Planning and executing a photoshoot. Overview of the planning process of a shoot; acquiring a model, makeup artists and other essential people to the shoot. Overview of the execution of a shoot; how to approach the shoot and the delivery of the final product.
5:15 - 6:00pm - Portrait workshop. Working with a model on posing techniques. Discussion on lighting techniques.
6:00 - 7:00pm - Breakout Session. Members can break into groups and apply the concepts and techniques covered during the workshop.
7:00 - 8:00pm - Dinner & Setup for Discussion
8:00 - Finish - Discussion.

Discussion
- Members share photos they took during the breakout (photographers have the option to receive verbal or non-verbal critiques)
- Share PP on file provided by Allan (optional)
- Discuss workflow techniques
- Discuss Post Processing techniques

Food
I'll go with Panda Express Catering (thanks antricacy). If the minimum amount of people RSVP (that's what you see above w/out the maybe's) then the cost will be $15 per head, not counting beverages. If more people show up, say fifteen then it'll be about $10 per head.

OK, I'll be updating the first post as we go along.

First of all, I need to know what day will be the best for the group so i can reserve the clubhouse. Since we'll be doing a late afternoon shoot and a discussion in the evening i'm guessing a saturday would be the best. but if people are okay with doing it on a sunday evening then we can do that as well...

April 24th - Friday, scheduling to accommodate guest speaker for portrait workshop


things to consider.

1. Photo shoot location - we can shoot on the Peninsula grounds, there's a lot of nice areas, or we can go across to kaiser high school or someplace nearby.
   
2. A/V equipment - laptop, projector, screen, etc
   
3. FOOD! - in between the shoot some of us could go and pick up food or we can go and buy our own dinners. suggestions?
   
4. Other things i left out that will be useful
   

I'm interested but it depends on the day/evening. Saturdays work better for me.

At the later hours, I'm good to come on any day, I may be a little late though cause I'll be coming straight after work . So count me in!

I'm working all those Saturdays. I'm open for all those Sundays.

EDIT: I'm open Friday nights if available.

May 3 - Sunday: Free
May 9 - Saturday: Free
May 10 - Sunday: Might be tough since this is Mother's Day

any day in May. Fridays work, too. Not 1 May though.
