I just put up a warning with a link to their resellerrating on their google search result. Don't know if it shows up but if it does, it should save some people some grief.

We gotta start putting soniccamera into the censor word list, we are giving them way too many back links and thus improving their Google pageranking further. It is a vicious cycle. What we need to do is never mention about them and just have a blacklist of resellers and call it done.

I called them once, just for fun. Got a guy, asked him about the 50D body for $700 I saw advertised in my Gmail. He asked, "Do you want the body only?" I replied "yes, just the body," and he said it was in stock and to hold on. He then put me on indefinite hold. Hung up, called back, got the same guy. It just amazes me how many threads are posted about this.

We should start a new sub forum. This is not proper for this area--people ask just ridiculous questions when it is overwhelmingly obvious. "$1,000 for a 5D mkII--real or not?" or "This $5000 msrp lens is listed for $1500, legit?"
