sinister is how i describe this Evo... partly because I took a ride with him and man it can haul ass and corner on a dime.

Great shots. I like them both. The only small suggestion would be to have someone throw some dust in front of the headlights on the right hand side to match the shine pattern of the other two. Great shots and sharpness!

Yeah, I would have to say the first shot is freaking awesome. Do you have an EXIF info on it. Awesome detail and sharpness. Props.

In the first shot, what did you focus on? and what lens did you use? Amazing capture!

The first shot settings are as follows:

Shooting Mode - Manual Exposure
Shutter Speed - 1/60
Av - 3.2
Metering Mode - Partial Metering
ISO Speed - 400
Lens - 28.0 - 75.0 mm

I was also using autofocus.. which is a must. It's basically my only lens, but supposibly the Tamron has super fast focusing which really helped a lot. Shoooting at 1/60th makes it super hard to get the subject nice and sharp. I took about 15 total and that was the sharpest one.

As far as what to focus on? I Just aimed for the front bumper since its the part of the car that angle that will attract the most attention.

A great pair of shots. Looks like you made the right choice with the Tamron

Great shots Sonic! I see that the EVO has an upgraded FMIC too. Nice.
