HOLY SH IT have you guys seen the rebates that Sandisk is giving for there extreme IV and there other extreme CF cards?
The rebate increases exponentially with every card you buy up to three.
Buy one card at B&H for 114.00 (8gig extreme IV) and you get 60.00 off, buy two you get 130 off, buy three you get 200.00 OFF!!
So if you buy three 8 gig Extreme IVs and you only pay 143.00 or so dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That mean you buy one and almost get two free only paying and extra 30 bucks!!
Is this to good to be true? Did I miss something in the fine print?
They are sold out of the 16GIG Extreme IV but the 8GIG are still in stock. WOO HOO!!

Sorry about the title miss-spell, must have been exited over saving MONEY!!!!!!

be prepared to make extra calls and produce your upc, and deal with a bit of hassle. I have done 3 sandisk rebate, all of them eventually getting my rebate, all of them saying I did not submit upc, and after a couple of calls and telling them that I have copies, they magically finding the upc. Just be prepared.

Nice rebates on all their extreme stuff. There are some good ones on the other cards as well if you dont need the 8gb Extreme IVs. You can for example get 3 of the Extreme III 8gb cards for $85 after MIR ;)

Easiest way to find what you want is go to Adorama's Memory Card section:
http://www.adorama.com …ories&cat3=Memory%20Cards (external link)

Then on the right side of the page click Sandisk as the manufacture, Compact Flash or SD, and then what sizes you are interested in (the rebate is good on 4, 8, and 16gb varieties of the Extreme III and Extreme IV SD and CF cards + the 32gb Extreme III CF card).

Yeah...still too much. I've been using Kingston's 133x and 8GB of those are only $20.

I got 3 8 GB extreme 3 for 10 dollars after rebate last year.
Best deal I've got. But extreme 3 is slow...

I've never experienced an issue with ext 3 cards. I will not upgrade to 4 anytime soon.

Last year using their rebates I got 3 4gb Extreme IIIs for -$2.00. They paid me (3 months later, mind you) for three of their memory cards.

Just remember that you won't be getting your rebate in the form of a check you can deposit in a bank. What you get is a Visa stored value card that contains the appropriate rebate amount. As the Sandisk rebate form fine print says, the Visa card offers "no cash access." You can use it to buy things but can't convert it to real money. Whether you can buy something with it and then return it for a cash refund, I don't know.

I got three of the 8GB EIIIs last year, had to remind them to look at my submission because they claimed I purchased outside the rebate period. Eventually got my rebate.

i use the VISA cards for gas. if i get a $50 card i put $25 in the tank twice.

K.I.S.S.

that way i'm sure to use every penny of the rebate and don't need to check the balance or worse yet forget about it, which is what they hope you do :D.

I'd rather have a check made out to me. I definitely won't forget about it if it's in my bank account.

They had a similar offer a few months ago. I'm still waiting for my visa card rebates. I sent the stuff in in October. :|
