I gave the whole smoke thing a try and am very pleased with the results here are a few.

Also the smoke does some creepy things, see if you can spot the face in agony in the first one.

Nice! I notice you're not using flash on these. How were you lighting the smoke?

Once you see the face in the first one, you can't not see it. (I know that's a double-negative, but you get what I'm saying). Yeah, I'd like to know how you lit it.

Yes the face is creepy......

As far as lighting..... from what I have researched the proper way to do it is have a flash on the smoke that doesn't hit the backround or the lens...... I don't have an off camera flash sooooo....

I used a cheapo flood light with a cardboard box as a big snoot front the side.....
Focus was tricky as the smoke kept moving and I had to manually focus.
But hey it worked !

Thanks guys.......You really start seeing weird stuff in the smoke.....
Tomorrow I will try and post up one that looks like a fish and one like a woman.

My smoke is haunted ;)
