USS Trepang- Halifax, Nova Scotia

I thought this was an interesting photo, made in August 1978 aboard the USS Trepang, SSN 638, on a port call in Halifax. This is a digital scan of a very old slide picture.

The picture probably means more to someone that has served on subs. I served on a diesel boat, the USS Tirante (SS-420). It is a special site to look back (aft) and see the colors flying. I'm just sorry that I didn't capture some of those shots when I was serving. Thanks for posting.

A few years late to seeing this, but would just like to mention that Trepang's hull number is SSN 674 (not 638). I was a aboard her on that trip. Thanks for the memory!
