I like how you've frozen the rider in the second shot, but what is that red stuff along top left of image?

A close up shot with the wideangle lens, at the base of a jump could make a neat shot. Had you tried that?

Yea, that would make a cool shot. Especially if you could sit on the landing of the jump and take a shot of him in mid air. Then have him land a few feet to either side of ya. A little dangerous, but I've seen some awesome dirt bike shots taken that way.
