DO you use the LCD or VF on your G6

Bottombracket - good point about the TLRs. I used to do that every so often when I took out my old Yashicamat to play.

Dbump - re. using fixed objects (walls, trees, etc) for stability: no disagreements there.

However, I guess I have a hard time imagining that working too well with the light G6, especially with the viewfinder twisted out (which means I have to look down). As I said, probably just a matter of what we are used to.

Interesting tidbid - I'll give it a shot this weekend.

LCD on my G3 100% of the time. LCD quit on it awhile back, and before I sent it in for repair I was shooting using the viewfinder for a bit. Hated it. Live preview is amazing. I would deffinitely miss it a ton if I went DSLR.

LCD always. ONLY time I've ever used the viewfinder on my G3 was when I was at the airshow. Adaptor + Teleconverter = 3/4's of the viewfinder blocked :D
