I am not sure what's wrong with him but he seems to be in the wrong business.

I recently bought a lens and bunch of memory and used some giftcards I had + some gift certs I bought at adorama to fund the lens.

Well, after pasying for the memory, I get email from tobias to call him to verify. I did, and hebasically asked what kind of cc is that. I told him, it's a giftcard from visa which has certain $ on it. he proceeded to double charge it(no clue why), so obviously because it has limited $, it declined the 2nd time.

He started getting attitude, nearly calling me a scammer, but after I explained it to him, he was like "oh it's not my job to do orders, hold to be transfered to csr"

wtf?

Then, later, I wanted to get the lens, i went to use gift cards online, they didnt work! I call them again and they send me to him - and he says, fine give it to me and i will manually put order though. I tried to tell him I wanted to order it online, partly because of the cashback which would have been significant!

He pretended not having a clue and said that it's an issue on my end and either I order over the phone or .... (ie there is nothing they can do about it)

Now, I know adorama has a really good rep here, but this totally creeped me out!

Yes, he's real, but what was going through his head, I really don't know.....I've passed your posting on to his manager, who will, I am sure, deal with this appropriately.

My apologies that your buying experience wasn't as it should have been. You are always welcome to contact me directly when there are problems with an order!

Sincerely
