I swear, I can't make a decision to save my soul when it comes to setting up my rec room into a studio..

If I got something like this:

Will it be enough to do full body shots??

And would this be my best bet for a stand??

Part of me is thinking about a 10' black fence pole, and then hanging it from the ceiling with large hooks mounted into a couple of studs......I would have to think that would be very stable, and easy to pull off and switch backgrounds in a pinch (er....few minutes).

Would I even get a fense pole through the seam in the muslin?

I am looking at getting a white paper roll too, but want to get the decision right the first time..

I am not 100% sure on the fence pole however you might be able to get a 10ft copper pipe 3/4 or 1 inch in diameter. That should be strong enough to hold your paper roll as well as fit into the pocket that the muslin has. If you search for diy background stands there is an example of the copper pipe setup on this forum. They used 2 light stands, 2 super clamps, and a copper pipe.

Locally I found that the price of one 10x20' muslin far exceeded the ebay equivalent of muslin WITH support system.

Obviously, I opted for the ebay purchase.
