Here's some of the results from last sunday. Keep in mind this is my first uwa lens, so any C&C is very appreciated (also on the post processing)

Harsh lighting differences inside this church, but it cleaned up nicely. On the full resolution version I was battling some CA at the right-side windows, which gets tricky to remove because I prefer loading the raw files directly into the hdr merge or photomatix standalone. I tried making TIFFs with DPP 3.5 which has better CA removal, but ended up taking the lazy way out because it doesn't really show on 25% resize or less... If I ever print them I'll do it properly...

It was kind of tricky to get both the water and the people walking on the right to stop ghosting. I eventually ended up using 2 hdr's from the photomatix standalone. It has nearly flawless ghosting removal, but you have to pick between wrinkles on the water and moving objects / people.
I generated the HDRs from both and did a manual align and local blend in photoshop.

Two things annoy me in this one: First, the telescope is not quite in focus (I have a version that's focussed on the telestope but the rest is soft) and second, my shadow on the railing ;)
Used the same technique as described under #2 to get the water/boat still and stop the people from ghosting. Essentially that makes it use only one exposure for that area, but the shadows and highlights are still combined properly.

Ultra wide angle is fun :D

There's a few more hdr and other shots from the same series on my flickr (external link). Thanks for looking all, I always appreciate comments

Edit: Actually, I think I should have posted this in the photo sharing part, but maybe the hdr crowd is still interested in my processing strategies :)

HDR or not, these are very nice. I'm not a fan of the angled shot, but the rest of them are spot on. Well done.

I can write one up, but it depends a lot on the software used: photomatix pro standalone (so not the PS plugin) does a really good job, but it's limiting for making you choose between either ghosting in moving objects (people) or ghosting in ripples (water).

For me, heavy ghosting in either or both means that for certain areas I'm only going to use one exposure. Any sort of manual blending will work ok.
If you own photomatix, just use the two methods, copy the layers on top of eachother using the one that looks best overall as background.
Then add an all black layer mask and start painting on the layer mask in white (50% brush - and go over it a few times with a light brush) to let the top layer through.

I'll try to write a small tutorial with some images about it asap, this is all pretty much self taught :)

Layering the HDR with the original and letting heavily haloed and ghosted areas through from the original is the best way.
