I think I am improving over the last few months. I tried different lighting that my usual 3 lights. I do wish it was full of more expression though. I am at fault for not being able to control the model to do what I need.

I do like how this shot came out. I am now using the 4 light setup. Using 2 to blow the background out and two on the model. She is on MM and naturalized Thai. I believe she will do well in modeling.

I did some simple editing (NON gaussian blur) on her skin. I still think I need to fix the hair but right at this time is beyond what I can do.

Out of curiosity, what did you meter your background lights and the lights on her at? I struggle with my white backdrop. I think you did very well. Very nice shot

Not sure I like her expression a ton but it is definitely nailed as far as exposure.

I really like it, although I'm more of a fan of shadows. She looks like a little doll-like but that just might be her skin's natural way.

I point two lights at the background at half power. Using a v-cards on each to prevent light from hitting my subject. Then I have two lights on the model for this shot.

As someone else said it looks like exposure wise it looks ok. A big issue for me is more of the expression on the model. She just looks boarderline uncomfortable or mildly unhappy. Although this is a personal preference I'm thinking the shot might be more interesting without so much white space. Is this the only shot you took?

I agree, you nailed the exposure here. I also agree with the white space, in terms of headroom. can't go wrong if you keep the eyes on the upper third ( of the rule of thirds) of the pic. And in my own personal experience, if you think you're close enough, take one step closer! :)
