Josh Ritter 4/5/09 Tarrytown Music Hall Tarrytown, NY

I hooked up with one of my favorite performers this past weekend; Josh Ritter. He did a small mini-tour to try out some new material with his band and it was a joyous two nights. I decided to put up the second night because the band was feeding off of the small but very enthusiatic crowd and played their hearts out. The first photo in this gallery had Josh's friends, management and animal join him for the encore.

Fun stuff and I'm really looking forward to a June date in Central Park with a full orchestra!

#'s three and eight, are my favorites. Real nice set.

Josh, I swear we shoot all the same bands I just shot them two nights in a row a week ago, I just got done working on both sets (literally 30 seconds ago) and have not posted them yet.

You got some great captures. I especially like #2 b/c I never really caught him doing much action for the two shots I shot.

Josh is one heck of a nice guy and plays with a huge smile all night long.

Nice job, I like the mood in #6. Looks like it was a fun show

3 looks a bit soft, and the face he is making in 6 is goofy (not a bad thing)

Aside from 3, looks like it was a great show and you have great pictures here to match. I like the viewpoint on 1, and 8 is my favorite. Killer stache.
