The heli was shot with my 17-85 and the F-16 turbine powered beast was shot with my 100-400L

The season starts up here very soon, and I'll be out shooting them then but for now just enjoy seeing everyone elses photos. You can just see it in the background of the burning plane. It's actually a full size private runway. There was a huge scale fly-in (all types, but had to be larger than 80" span) last weekend a few hours away. It was held at Dick Smiths property. Dick Smith is a very well known aviator, businessman, adventurer. Kind of an aussie Richard branson I guess. 50D. 7D. 24-105L. 100-400L. 135L. 50 1.8 Sigma 8-16
