I just purchased an item from ebay using the Microsoft cashback and then made the payment via paypal. During the course of making payment, there was no asking me to login my Microsoft cashback account. It does say I have earned the cashback as follows:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO
It pays to shop eBay. You've earned $38.49 USD cashback!
Your cashback will be available in your PayPal account in approximately 60 days

Does this mean I sucessfully claimed the cash back? 1st time I was using the Microsoft cashback and I am a little confused.

Yes! Now you will have to go to your live.com account to check for the cashback to show up and it will be available in 60 days.

It still shows zero. Does it take some time to show it? Thanks

After you paid, it should have had a link for you to click on to claim the cashback. Once you do that you go back to live.com like powerslave said and check your account to make sure it is pending. Some people have reported that their cashback showed up in a couple hours, or even immediately. Right now I'm waiting on a $180 cashback for about a week. It will probably take the whole 60 days.

Mine took a few minutes to show up, I kept signing in and out and it finally showed up after the 3rd time.

I didn't see any link for me to claim the cashback. i thought there should be something like that, but there was none. it does say " You've earned $38.49 USD cashback! Your cashback will be available in your PayPal account in approximately 60 days."

UPDATE: OK, received an ebay message after the purchase and followed the instruction and now I claimed the cash back. Thanks to all.

Just for future reference, it took quite some time to show up for me, I think about a day.

Same, I've had it take a day or so to show up in my live.com account.

All my cashback purchases have gone smoothly with no problems and all the money was deposited in my Paypal account as promised after the 60 days.
