Finally! A brisk, but well lit morning and some time to shoot. Also, got some nice POP on these shooting RAW and processing (just learning) in DPP.
Actually, this the first real output from my new gear, the 50D and 25-70 f/2.8L lens. Constructive criticisms are certainly welcome. They're not really exciting, I'll be the first to admit.
1. County Seat bldg in Wooster, Ohio. Liked the copper roof elements and the old clock.
2. Kid art turned into ceramic tiles. Looked like an interesting capture.
3. Didn't read the blurb about this guy, but people probably took him for 'granite' in the day.
4. Really got some pop and bokeh I like on this shot. Brand new foilage.
5. This could well have been Faber College ... if anyone recognizes that name!
6. Another from C.O.W. which is a very well-respected private University.
7. Liked the filtered sun on the bright red paper box. Daily Planet would have made it interesting.
8. Spring is finally reaching Ohio. Yesterday's snow gone with temps ~50.
Thanks for looking. Maybe I'll forego the landscaping projects around the home and shoot tomorrow morning as well.
