How come I can't seem to fire my DLite4 with my pocketwize II trigger?
I'm using a mono to mono 1/8" cable
it fires fine on optical slave.
Thanks guys!

Are you sure the Pocket Wizard is working properly? I believe that is the D-Lite 4 you purchased from me. I was using it prior to shipping and also, as I had mentioned before your purchased the light, it was at BogenImaging for a 'checkup' and it was sent back to me with a clean bill of health and a small capacitor replaced. Try another cable, try another D-Lite4 (if you have one, just in case it's the sync port), and even try another Pocket Wizard if you have one. But it's most likely a connection problem, so the cable would be my first suspect... • Wedding Photographer - Sydney and Wollongong

I tried multiple PWs but only have 1 Dlite4 lol Yeah TMR, it's your old one. It works perfectly in optical slave mode. At the last studio/flickr meetup, a gent brought a Dlite4, and we tried PWIIs on it and used a stereo cable and it also didn't fire. we didn't have a mono cable to try. Is there a specific sync cord to use? I may have been to this movie before.

Do you have the package for the cord you purchased from Radio Shack? If so, please cite the exact product number. Does the ad copy mention the word "attenuating". Is this the cord? http://www.radioshack.com …dex.jsp?productId=2103841 Enjoy! Lon Exactly what I was thinking, too, Lon. Those Radio Shack attenuating mono cables have been giving a lot of members here some real headaches with their remotes. ...Leo

I'll have to check when I get home. Is there an alternate cable that I can buy from RadioShack? How hard is it to wire in a 1/8" headphone jack if I were to cut the elinchrom wire up? How about just ordering a ready-made one? From here: ...Leo
