I've tried setting up a tripod and shooting the moon but all I get is blur. I want to capture it sharp. I've set up a tripod, lowered the ISO to 100, f11 for greater depth, and tried various shutter speeds, all with poor results.

Need advise!

Thanks!

Here's one of my test shots.

I was hoping to capture the moon-lit clouds along with a sharp image of the moon. The sky was amazing.

Use manual focus, for some reason, I can't get autofocus to focus accurately. I use live-view at 10x's zoom to manual focus.

I took this a few nights ago with my 55-250

Try this link for exposure information:

Thanks for the exposure calculator link!

Got a better shot tonight. Would be nice if I could get closer though.

Shot it with my 70-200mm L, at 200mm with a 2X teleconverter, at f/13, 1/50, ISO 100.
