I drove 3 hours to Landcaster, paid $5 for parking, froze my nut off for NOTHING. The poppies are gone for the season. WTF...it is only the first week of April. Anyhow, get what i can for the trip. :)

#1 is beautiful. Vivid colors and eye-appealing perspective.

#4 is positioned perfectly. I like the parallelism and the smooth blur of the background.

You know, I can only recall one good year over the last five seasons. Sucks, we were planning to go on the 18th.

I like the pic. Very colorful.

Paid for parking to shoot poppies? Bummer. Certainly has changed from when I was younger. Used to go to the upper dessert and shoot wildflowers as far as you can see. 'Course, the Mojave is full of concrete now. Sad.

there are still plenty outside the park. (Right at 170 st & Landcaster road corner. ) YOu might want to go this weekend. Don't waste your $5 to go inside. Nothing in there unless you want to hike for a few miles

Well, for the price of gas, parking and the cost to thaw out the nut, add in the cost of printing and framing # 3.
All included, that is one very inexpensive, beautiful picture.
