I don't know about saved, but this pic was a grey mess and I was able to do at least something with it because I had the raw data to work from.

Well, here was an attempt to use light creatively -- a self portrait in a dark room with the sole light being my 580 at 2 stops down bounced off a corner at camera left, with a reflector at camera right:

The first night with my "new" Sony Mavica FD5 (circa 98'). I was testing out the mind shatteringly cool awesomness of the special sepia tone feature! Oops, time to pop in a another 3.5" floppy!
