Just got my 55-250 and had to try it out. out of about 100 shots, I'm pretty happy with this one. It's far cry from some of the images here, but its' pretty good for me (I gotta start somewhere) likely it could use some contrast and level adjustment. However I went out just aiming for DOF and focusing for now. Thought i'd share. C&C welcomed.

Would have been better if you hadn't chopped the bottom off, I assume it has feet :D zoom out next time. The light looks like it was a bit harsh. You will find shooting birds gets addictive, you have been warned ;)
