PSE 7, ACR can't save to a .jpg

After opening ACR and adjusting my pics i goto save them and I can only save them as a .dng. When I open that image I just saved in pse 7 and finish the adjustments i'll goto save it and i dont have a .JPG option. I have Jpeg 2000. What is this? I do have an option for .tiff but i do like to save to .jpg. Is there something I can do or is the jpeg 2000 the same as .jpg?

Your image in in 16-bit - that's why you can't save as jpeg. After you do your editing, convert to 8-bit to save as a jpeg. Or save as a PSD if you want to stay in 16-bit, with layers etc.
