I know they are everywhere. But today they were with me! I found a flock and I mean a flock of Cedar Waxwings. About 30 or more of them at a local shopping mall. I watched them for quite a while! Very cool birds. Wow, a Painted bunting and Cedar Waxing wings all in one week. I am blessed!!

Very nice series!! And congratulations on a "life" bird. I think I should put together such a list.

Some stuff that says "Canon" on it and a happy trigger finger.

If it isn't a sparrow, cardinal, bluejay, junco, titmouse, robin and an ocasional woodpecker and finch then it is a "life" bird to me.

Great shots!

Mike

These are all beautiful, Don. Where did you see them? I've never seen one in Florida, although I can't claim a long history of birding.

Thanks for all the great comments. Hey Stan all of these were taken in the parking lot of the Melbourne Square Mall. I watched them come at me and I followed them to a tree in the parking lot. They just stayed there hopping from branch to branch enjoying the afternoon sun. What a blast this week has been. I have had two male Painted Buntings at my feeders in my back yard and one female. Like I said before. I have seen so many new birds this week!! I love it!
