Not sure what happened. I have been using my flash with my pocketwizard plus II for a while now and it suddenly just stopped working with it.

The problem is not with the PW, because it works with my other flash. The flash functions fine on its own as it should, but can not be triggered anymore. The connector is just as it was. no damage.

What the heck happened? Anyone encounter this?

How are you connecting the PW to the Canon?
PC to Hotshoe adapter?

I had a (Canon!) E-TTL cord go bad on me, maybe you have a broken cable as well?
If not, check the contacts on the bottom of the flash and the hotshoe mount itself.

Hey! I live pretty close, if you want to try this flash with my camera, or try my 430EX, let me know. I'm free pretty much whenever. Might lead to a resolution of the problem.

Just the humble musings of a beginner...

It'll be a connector issue. Tell us what you use, or try one of these (external link).

Try a different flash and report back. Eliminate all the possible devices and connectors methodically, go to a camera store if you need to.

The flash worked fine. And it somehow magically works with the PW again.
