A little too dark for my taste.
Anyway, this flower is wonderfull. I would suggest a little increase in brightness/contrast, just a little sharpen and at the end play a little with saturation too...
Give it a try :)

Both are very good hard to pick one, did you do a little USM that usually makes them jump out when being viewed on a moniter.

Lioness, I'll post here another version. I hope you don't mind.
Here's the changes :
- Draw back hilights and midtones in "Adjust Levels";
- A little plus (around 6) for brightness and contrast;
- A little plus ( around 6-7) for Reds Saturation in "Hue/Saturation";
- Unsharp mask : ~ 120%, 0.9 radius.

As I said, I hope you don't mind :)

hollow-Thanks. I appreciate the comments. I like the sharper edges. I'm still playing with light and colour to see what I like best. Did you see the other flower posts I made the last couple days? Comments on those?

Lioness glad I can help :)
Now when I look again I think I've over-brighten hilights myself :).
So just try, and try and try untill you are pleased with the results.
Anyway lovely flowers you have.

(you have to excuse my English since is not my "native" language)
